Boot Camp: How to be a journalist

This in: I am a journalism student. In other words, the latest, most deliberate choice in identity that I’ve made is enrollment in a journalism graduate school program.

And after two quick months, I’m already immersed in the trade.

It fits nicely into this blog that our first assignment was a “profile,” an assignment requiring us to pair with classmates to write about each other. Here’s what Melissa Siegel (@MelissaSiegel89) writes on me.

To compile all of the things I did and learned throughout my classes, I’ve used the site Storify (a tool recommended by professor Jon Glass). For some more in depth explanation of assignments, refer to the “Portfolio” section of this blog.
